How it started?

Founded in 1989, Regal Cinemas is headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee and Mike Campbell is appointed as CEO. Regal started to grow rapidly and kept on opening several larger cinemas in suburbs. Most of these have Café Del Moro, a premium café, and more upscale interiors.  Regal Cinemas has seen significant growth over the decade, swallowing several smaller chains down along with developing more up-market, modern cinemas. The largest acquisition of the brand during the period led to Act III Theaters and it acquired some of the smaller chains along with Cobb Theaters, National Theater Corp, and RC Theaters. By the year 2001, Regal was extended like its competitor cinema chains. It became the leading name in entertainment industry and it is merged into United Artists and Edwards chains. The Regal Roller Coaster trailer was aired before showing any movie from 1990s to 2004. In 2010, it was revived and latest variant was released in 2015.

Franchise Opportunities

Regal Entertainment Group has announced construction of Regal Cinemas in different locations, giving various opportunities to acquire Regal Entertainment Group Real estate, according to Business Wire. It is the leading theater chain offering variety of opportunities to own Regal Entertainment Group lease. It is a great business opportunity for you to have Regal Entertainment Group investment property. It has almost doubled the number of theaters over the past few years. It has planned to expand its Regal Cinemas theatres across the United States. Like other brands, Regal Cinemas is also proposed to extend over the coming years. So, it is best to own a Regal Entertainment Group corporate franchise.

Along with Regal Cinemas, REG has also established United Artists Theaters. It is based on movie studio. The chain was separated from the studio over time and it was the part of leading company in 1970s, United Artists Communications. Edwards Theaters is another option for franchise opportunities. It was a family owned theater chain based in California in 1930 started by William James Edwards Jr. It is one of the most popular and most anticipated theater chains in California.
